Google Chrome not loading websites on my network

Hello, So out of no where, My MacBook's internet been super weird and I can't run certain apps. For example, I can't run Chrome and Spotify and it says This site can’t be reached and asks to check the connection. I know my wifi works well with other devices and also Safari works fine it is just chrome. Also this problem disappears once I stop using my internet connection such as using a vpn or just using a different network. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Your issue is most likely caused by DNS, proxy, or corrupted Chrome network settings. Safari works because it uses different networking paths. Try clearing Chrome’s network cache, turning off proxies, changing DNS to Google/Cloudflare, removing profiles, or resetting network settings. The issue should resolve.

May consider an alternative https://brave.com which is essentially Google Chrome without the Google baggage

Commercial VPNs ?

They may not be what one believes they are doing for the computer and what they actually are doing behind the scenes and unbeknownst to the user ( you )

They may also reduce your Internet Speeds by upwards of 30%
