Tap vs Swipe to Stop Alarm in 26.1

Is there any way to change how to Stop an alarm on the iPhone with 26.1? This last update now requires a swipe in order to Stop the alarm making it much harder to stop when you may not be holding the phone in a swipe-friendly position. A simple tap worked much better.

Yes that's possible. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Scroll down and turn on Prefer Single-Touch Actions.
