I’m trying to verify my Apple Cash account. I enter my full legal name, SSN, and date of birth, but when I press Next, it just loops back to the start asking for my name again. There’s no error message, it just restarts the form.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug, or some kind of protective measure for younger users? Any guidance on what usually fixes it would be appreciated.
A parent or guardian will need to call Apple Support and confirm you’re now 18. Please call 1-800-MY-APPLE. Once age is confirmed wait several days for the servers to sync and update your age and you should be all set.

yes i just turned 18 in the USA. I have a Debit card(for kids) attached to my Apple Pay so im now for the first time setting up Apple Cash for myself
You’ve tried the limit. Stop trying to verify for a couple of days and try it again, but just once. Repeatedly trying to verify is what scammers do.
