Game mode is ridiculous. My game slows down and my phone heats up for a good 30 seconds while it’s deciding if it should turn on. Meanwhile, in PvP I lose. Even if I shut it off for a game, it still does the slowdown and processing just to pop up “game mode off.” There needs to be a way of shutting it off completely so it doesn’t screw up my game. In the interest of trying to make games perform better you’re messing it all up!

If you have disabled Game Mode in the Control Center, it cannot be disabled further. Game Mode should optimize your iPhone, by, among other things, down-prioritizing background apps. New processors are not started, which can/should slow down your iPhone.
What can slow down your iPhone can be a worn battery, too little space on the iPhone, lack of restart, as well as an older iPhone (I see you are using iPhone 13) can also be the reason.
What is your current battery health? 80% or lower?
Settings > Battery > Battery Health
