Another way is to simply attach files to an email and send them that way.

The most reliable way is still a USB cable, not Bluetooth or email.

Plug your Android phone into the Mac with a USB-C cable, unlock the phone, and set USB mode to File Transfer (MTP). On macOS, Apple doesn’t natively browse Android storage, so use a lightweight tool like OpenMTP or Android File Transfer to drag and drop files directly. It’s faster, works offline, and doesn’t compress anything.

If you want wireless without third-party apps, Google Drive works fine, but for regular transfers, USB + OpenMTP is the least painful setup on macOS.
