Cannot zoom out screenshot for iPhone wallpaper

Hi there, I was hoping someone could help me with my iPhone wallpaper issue

I'm trying to take a screenshot of a note from my notes app and use it as a wallpaper on my iPhone

However when I do this, I cannot zoom out of the screenshot

If anyone could help me set a screenshot as a wallpaper without this issue, I would really appreciate it

If the photo doesn’t match the iPhone 14 Pro’s display resolution (2556 × 1179 px, roughly), the system won’t allow you to shrink it below a certain size using pinch gestures.

Pre-resize the photo (As suggested by WheelieNick) before setting it as wallpaper

Use the Photos app’s Edit → Crop → size (2556 × 1179 px, roughly).
