Updating Emergency Contact data

"Thanks for offering to help.: I ended up needing a work-around by creating NEW Name/phone number entries in Contact. I then ADDED the 'entries' and deleted the uncorrected data. Best wishes."

"Updating Emergency Contact data: My current iPhone 15 Pro and Apple Watch 10 have updated to OS 26.1. I am unable to edit the phone numbers listed for my two Emergency contacts. When I push 'Edit' for either contact, the only option is to select a 'Relationship,' not edit the text or phone numbers. When I try to 'Add' a new contact, it lists all my contacts but prevents me from selecting the correct phone number. Rebooting both iPhone and Watch makes no difference. Please advise. Thanks."

1. Open: Health app
2. Tap: Summary
3. Tap: your profile icon (located on the top right corner)
4. Tap: Medical ID
5. Tap: Edit
6. Tap: the name (blue text)
7. Select: the appropriate title from the list.
