I have the orange dot visible on my iPhone. I know this means that the microphone is being used.
The Control Centre does not identify any applications using the microphone and I have remove microphone access from ALL applications via Privacy & Security.

As Lawrence Finch wrote. Could it be because of your wallpaper image? If your wallpaper is a screenshot that you have used as a background, then the microphone indicator may have been active when you took the screenshot, which is why it is constantly displayed, as it is part of the image.
Possible solution: Try changing your wallpaper. Both on the lock screen and home screen.
If all apps that can access the microphone are disabled, you also can try restarting your iPhone, and see if it disappears.
Perhaps it's on your wallpaper?
And you need to update to iOS 26 before anyone can help further.
I’ve updated tho iOS 26.1 and the dot is still there. The Control Centre does moult identify any Apps using the microphone and all microphone access has been disabled under Privacy and Security.
