No animations despite Reduce Motion being off

“Reduce motion” is turned off, yet still no animations of parallax or whatever. It looks like I enabled “Reduce motion” but it’s turned off.

OK. the Paralax effect is quite subtle, so I'm not sure what you were expecting. On your home page of apps, if you tilt the phone from side to side, you will see a very subtle movement of the apps. With Reduce Motion turned off, the best example I can think of for you to check would be to power your iPhone off, then power it back on, it will require you to input your passcode to open your phone. If motion is working, when the number pad opens, it will sort of bounce up smoothly. Does your phone do that? If yes, Motion is working as expected. The effects should not be overwhelming. They are all subtle.

Yes, I restarted my phone but still didn’t get the bouncing up buttons on the password screen neither did I get the parallax effect. I sure do know how the animations look like because my Dad has an iPhone and has the animations I do not have. Also I did not get the animation when I enter/close the apps and instead am left with the basic fade in/out effect that you’ll get if you turn the “Reduce Motion” thingy.

So I did all you told me to do yet didn’t get nothing. Super subtle problem, I am sure the solution lies somewhere tricky.

OK. Is KiltedTim's comment to turn off Low Power Mode, possibly your issue?

Force restarted and the miracle happened (not). Nothing happened, maybe I am gonna book an appointment to Apple’s support team. Thank you.

Sorry nothing helped. I'm sure Apple will be able to help you. Would you please come back and let us know what the solution turns out to be? It would help others who might have the same issue.
