iPhone 17 image slowly rotating when filming?!?!?

When filming on an iPhone 17 connected to a MacBook Air, the image is slowly rotating first left then right.

I thought maybe it was an OBS studio issue, but when I face time using the phone as a camera connected to the MacBook, the same thing happens.

On playback it looks a bit like I’m on a boat rocking left then right.

I’d really appreciate thoughts on how to stop this.

You are describing the iPhone’s Center Stage feature, designed to keep people in the frame. This describes the feature. Turn it off if you don’t want it.

I believe I solved this one.

I am filming in a very unusual location. It's a fish room with air pumps running to provide filtration to the fish tanks.

It turns out that the vibrations from the air pumps were causing the phone camera issues. Once the air pumps were turned off, the problem stopped straight away.

I don't suppose others will hit this same issue, but if they do, check for vibrations.
