i'm having a problem since the 26 update, i'm now on 26.1. when going to settings then icloud, i get a blank screen. the "banner" at the top is still there. i can see the battery power, service bars, and clock. it says "icloud" at the top and has the "back" arrow. however, the rest of the screen is completely black. any ideas ?

This is different from a simple Power Off. I had to continue holding the button down past the "slide to power off" message, and then I released the button only after the Apple Logo appeared indicating a re-start.
i've tried that after the main 26 update while trying to fix some other issues, haven't tried since the 26.1, guess it's worth a shot, not gonna hold my breath 🙄. i'll try it and see what happens, thanks
something else that's strange since the update. "wallpaper" doesn't show up under recent, in settings. i change mine often and i like to scroll thru them under settings as opposed to doing it from the lock screen. it used to be as soon as i went to settings, then clicked in the search bar, wallpaper would show up as a recent. now it's not there 🤔. all the other things i do under settings will show up as recents, seems to only be wallpaper. now i hit search, then type a "w" and wallpaper will show up just under wallet. it's just strange that it isn't under recent anymore, only since the 26 update.
not yet, force restart did nothing. i submitted a bug report a while back, but apparently they don't respond to individuals ... so we are screwed until enough people complain and they finally do something i guess 🙄

i checked and still have about 75G available so that's not it. what's weird too, i noticed using the phone app, when on the "recent" screen, when i click "favorites", sometimes i get a black screen just like the icloud screen 🙄.. But i found out by messing around with it, if i click recent again and quickly click favorites, sometimes have to do it 3-4 times. then my favorites will show up. i have no idea if that's somehow related to the cloud thing? never had that problem prior to the main 26 update... and i did try that same technique(rapidly going back and forth) with the icloud setting and it still never shows up 🙁.. im stumped. i've sent a bug report regarding the icloud issue 2 times now. not to be repetitive but did it once after the last 2 updates so they know its still ongoing... thank you for replying and im certainly open to suggestions

If your iPhone storage is full, the iPhone cannot operate correctly.
If you can, check Settings > General > iPhone Storage and never allow your free space to fall to less than 6GB.
