CarPlay not connecting or showing in car

Carplay will not connect or show on my car. When I go to device manager it shows my iPhone and will connect for media and phone but no CarPlay icon.

CarPlay not working on iPhone after iOS 26.2 update After upgrading my phone to iOS 26.2, My apple carplay stopped working for some reason. I've tried all the options: tried different wires reset my phone and the car did a software restore. Every other phone is working except mine. I've also tried connecting to a different car and it didnt work. Connecting : USB - C cable. Car : Mercedes CLA 250 4matic 2022

Please make sure on phone, Settings—>carplay —> usb & bluetooth as required and the car name is appearing.

If still not working , restart the phone by unplugging the cable (or restarting bluetooth OFF and then ON) and redo the above, it should now show
