Dual Display Issue (2 x Apple Studio Displays)

I have an M1 Ultra Mac Studio with 2 Apple Studio Displays, and I’m running DaVinci Resolve Studio (latest version). My second display is used exclusively as a Clean Feed.

Earlier today I rendered a short timeline (about 1.5 minutes, some clips with heavy noise reduction). The render took roughly 10 minutes. When I returned and woke the system from power-save mode, the primary display came back normally but the Clean Feed display was extremely dim and appeared to be in a very low-resolution state. The image was so dark and blocky that it was difficult to see the cursor.

Both displays were still set to the correct profiles, and I always disable all auto-dimming and other automatic adjustments because I need consistent brightness and colour accuracy for grading.

Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas what might cause it?

Running macOS 26.1.

You're welcome.

If you have a minute, send us a screenshot of your Energy and Lock Screen panels.

I don't know what other drives you devices you have plugged into the Mac Studio's rear ports.

But one other thing to do, is stagger the Studio Displays on the Mac Studio's 1&2 3&4 ports.

Then if that doesn't help.

I would try swapping around the cables and displays, to see if the problem follows a cable or display.
