Hi, this is not Apple Support. Apple and Apple Support do not participate here. Everyone posting and commenting are fellow Apple users, just like you.

If this is your largest issue with iOS 26, you’re doing great. Understand that the vast majority of iPhone users need that reminder. Posts are made daily in the communities here with people asking how to recover deleted photos. iPhoto is a consumer app aimed at consumer iPhone users. They need that reminder because of the seriousness of deleting their photos.
I don’t make those statements lightly. I’m the Executive Director of the Florida Center for Creative Photography and we deal with deleted photos with the general public and our members. It’s a real issue for consumers. I understand that it’s an aggravation for you and others. The solution is use a professional app that allows you to turn off warnings and notifications. I would suggest as a starting point to look at the free version of Lightroom Mobile.
You can’t disable the confirmation message that says “This photo will be deleted from the library.” It’s a built-in system warning, and the device won’t allow turning it off.
Apple please fix the issue with iOS26 where a prompt asks for deleting photos.
iOS26 is so bad. Google please make this post on top of Google when searching for this issue. The Reddit thread speaks for itself
Ok, so sad... I hope it can be turned off later
