Trusted Device for icloud account

How come I get a message: Trusted devices list is not available when I try to sign back into my icloud account? How do I add a trusted device when I already see my “trusted” device under>Sign in and Security>Two Factor Authentication>Verify Using I see my device is listed? Please help I’ve been locked out for 4 days now—

Wondering whether the phone number for your trusted device is available, or not, in your Apple Account ?


Your Apple Account is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in as well as the contact, payment, and security details you use across Apple services.


if you need to add the phone number to receive verification codes::

About trusted phone numbers and trusted devices for Apple Account - Apple Support

Eg says:

Add or change your trusted phone numbers


  • On your iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security > Two-Factor Authentication.

Below the list of devices and phone numbers, tap Add a Trusted Phone Number.


  • On the web: Go to account.apple.com, then click Sign-In and Security > Account Security.

In the Trusted Phone Number section, you can add and remove phone numbers.

Locked out of iCloud, or your Apple Account ?

or

If your Apple Account is locked, not active, or disabled - Apple Support
