Trusted Devices

I keep getting messages to give permission for a "trusted device". How do I turn this off?

Read this support article about trusted devices: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support


Unless this is some kind of new scam, the message means somebody is trying to sign into a device with your Apple ID and password. If you do not recognize this then you may wish to take steps to verify the security of your account.
