Google Maps website on iPad highlights blue when panning

When i go on google maps website on ipad, whenever i pan using the cursor the whole screen gets highlighted blue. This happens in street view as well. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Perhaps you can expand upon this suggestion - noting that Feature Flags, where available, are iOS/iPadOS version-specific.
