iPhone 17 Pro Instagram Live controls disappear

I have an iphone17 pro and when I run an Instagram Live and invite the guest to join, all side controls disappear and the top icons including the x to end the live go out of bounds at the top.

This was a glitch with iPhone 11pro too. Anyone else experiencing this? I have tried switching my phone e on and off, deleting the app and re-I stalking g, checking camera setting controls but no luck!

Any tips?
