Are deleted attachment photos also removed from the Photos app?
If attachment photos are deleted are they also deleted from photos?

If you have saved the attachment to Photos, then that's a copy. Trashing the email won't trash the Photos copy. It's the same with Text.
You ought to try it, though. Send yourself a message with a picture, save it to Photos, and then delete the message. That's what I just did.
