AirDrop not working for photos/videos from iPhone 1

hi,

I am having issues airdropping photos/videos from my iphone 17 pro max to my macbook pro. I have done all the troubleshooting possible. Yes, my airdrop is on, bluetooth is on, on both devices. I even tried 'everyone' on airdrop on both devices and sometimes it takes longer than usual to get a short ( 30 second) video airdropped, other times, nothing happens, meaning, no airdropping takes place. I have restarted both devices numerous times. I have storage on both devices also.

I saw a similar thread online but no fix. Anyone having similar issues or know a way around?
