Issue with Black Friday promo/gift card

Has anybody else had an issue with ordering an iPad Air or such during the Black Friday promo and not getting a gift card? I ordered an iPad Air and Apple Pencil pro. The promo states $100 for iPad Air and $25 for Apple Pencil pro. When I realized nothing came with my delivery this week I reached out to Apple. After half hour I basically found out that my order does not apply but have not been given a reason why. I was told I have connected late and due to that they can’t raise any kind of request. I only splurged and bought the iPad and pencil due to this deal and have been elated until now.
