Does iOS18 still deliver blocked messages to other devices, such as iPads and MacBooks?

A few years ago, I would block someone on my iPhone, but still receive the texts on my Apple Watch and other devices. Is this still a thing with iOS18? Or iOS26?

No — blocked messages are no longer delivered to your other Apple devices.

Apple changed the behavior several versions ago.

Today, blocking a number or Apple ID on ANY Apple device means:

✔ The block is synced through iCloud

✔ All Apple devices honor the block

✔ Messages, calls, and FaceTime from that contact are fully dropped across all devices
