Itunes slow start on Windows 11, and what fixed it for me.
Solution to my issue with iTunes slow open. After many sleepless nights, multiple iTunes reinstalls, and being at the point of wanting to move on to something new, I stumbled across my issue. My Bonjour service had become corrupted, was no longer running, and I could not get it to restart. Here is what worked for me,
- Ran services.msc and found Bonjour service was stopped
- Tried to restart the service and it would not start
- Used add remove programs in control panlel to remove Bonjour
- Download Bonjour Print Service for Windows from Apple Support
- Reinstall Bonjour
iTunes now opens immediatly and runs smoothly. THANK GOD!
