iPhone Apple ID verification failed, cannot sign in or out

Hello everyone,


I’m facing a very persistent Apple ID issue on my iPhone, and I really need help to understand what’s wrong.


Yesterday, my iPhone suddenly showed a message asking me to sign in to my Apple ID. When I tried to sign in, I started getting this error every time:



Verification Failed


Your identity couldn’t be verified. Check your network connection and try again.


I tried both Wi-Fi and cellular data, but nothing changes. I have tried many different solutions, but nothing is working. iCloud is no longer backing up, and I can’t sign out of my Apple ID because the device refuses to verify my password.

I know it may sound strange but try ensuring your Date & Time settings are set to "Set Automatically," as even minor time discrepancies can cause security certificates to fail. 

Next, completely disconnect any VPNs in your settings, as these often block the specific ports Apple uses for identity verification. If the issue persists, go to General > Transfer or Reset iPhone to Reset Network Settings (which flushes your connection cache), followed immediately by a Force Restart (press Volume Up, Volume Down, then hold the Power button).

Thanks to Apple support representatives they helped a lot via calls and finally this step
