How to delete inbuilt Apple apps on MacBook Air with iOS 26?

hello I have this new MacBook Air with iOS 26 and naturally when I opened it came with a lot of inbuilt apple apps that I do not want to have. I have tried everything and has not worked. are there any more options please ?

You cannot delete most of the apps that come with macOS. As part of hardening macOS against malware attack, Apple put many normally “read only” files on a cryptographically signed, sealed, system volume. The Mac does not even run directly off this volume, but off a read-only snapshot of it.


Just about all bundled apps except the really big ones (Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand) are part of the sealed system volume, and as a consequence cannot be removed.

As @Servant of Cats has posted, you cannot delete the inbuilt apps from the Mac.


However if you are interested in removing any of these apps from being displayed in the Dock at the bottom of your screen, that's easy to do. Simply click and drag the app icon up off the Dock until "Remove" appears and then release. The App will be removed from permanent display in the Dock.
