Safari on Mac locks up while running videos.

video on mac safari locks up but Chrome works great. I have latest Updates. MacMini 2018 Sequoia 15.7.2

Any ideas? I already did all the standard stuff like clearing cache. Running in safemode also has same problem.

Safari isn't working On my Mac Safari doesn't work anymore. I've tried a lot of things: updating the software, closing it (only possible by using the "close immediately" device), shut down the computer, made several new starts... It's always the same - I open Safari, nothing happens and I'm told "Safari doesn't react". I'm using Ventura 13.6.3., which should be the latest version. Is there anything else I could do?

Clear Safari’s Media and WebKit GPU caches

Turn OFF GPU media acceleration in Safari

Disable hardware video decoding in Experimental Features

Turn off HDR

Reset WebKit preferences or containers

Test with Technology Preview or new user

This is a known Safari + Intel GPU issue in 15.x
