MacBook Pro Setup: T&C Won’t Let Me Agree!

I have an older MacBook Pro Retina that I was going to sell. I had done the “erase” function months ago and then just put it on a shelf. My situation changed and now I want to use it. So, I plugged it in and it started doing the setup routine.

I get to the place where I have to “accept” their terms and conditions, but no matter what I do, I cannot the “Agree” button to work. If I go “Back”, I have to re-enter my Apple ID and password again, then I’m at the T&C thingy again. How the heck do I get it to let me say “Agree”?

Thanks, Jim

That has been a problem in the past.

To continue, go "Back" and skip the setup of the Apple ID.

After you have completed the setup you can then go to System Settings... > Apple Account and set it up.
