Unable to turn volume down when song is playing

Windows Apple Music app volume wont go down unless paused then played Embedding video to show issue in action https://youtu.be/sGEotRWK7IQ video also shows settings for AM

Turn OFF Spatial Audio / Dolby Atmos in Apple Music

Settings → Audio → Spatial Audio → Off

This alone fixes the issue for many Windows 11 users.
