it depends on the version of the iOS on the phone.

some iOS do not even send delivery receipts to the sender when the sender contact is blocked at phone level.

some versions of iOS do not send read receipts to the sender so the sender may use that information to know he’s blocked.

Short answer is it depends and hard to tell.

Recipients have no obligation to send read receipts, so that's not a useful differentiation.

The best approach — if you suspect you are blocked — is to stop sending messages, and to stop adding fodder for potential future litigation. Consider too that you may actually not be blocked, and may actually only be adding to the weight of evidence against yourself, should these communications become part of a legal case.

My message to be read as:

if the recipient had been sending read receipts and all of a sender is no more receiving read receipts, meaning

a) Recipient has stop sending read receipts OR

b) Recipient has blocked the sender however sender may still receive a delivery notification (depending on version of iOS running on phone)

best
