iPhone 16 camera control button stuck and unresponsive

I assume it's the camera button on the screen that's not working. Have you tried using the Down Volume button on the side of your phone because it's just as capable of taking photos and videos as the one on the screen?

You may try some of these steps, please check after each step...

1. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

2. If you're using a VPN, disable it and check if the error goes away. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and turn off any active VPNs.
