- Power on the MacBook Air.
- Wait for the login screen or desktop to appear.
- The internal display immediately shows:
- distorted colours
- pixelation or graphical artefacts
- partial or broken images
- The issue persists after restarting.
- System Preferences and other windows appear corrupted on the built-in display.
