Apple Watch 11 cutting off your message your sending

I bought the Apple Watch 11 not long after it came out. it's up to date on software. I can use the messages just fine but sometimes not all the time but quite frequently I will use my microphone option that it has instead of the little keyboard and I will tell it the whole message which can be a little lengthy. I have this issue where it will cut my message off in weird spots when I go to send it and my message makes no sense. Or in the case I just had it took everything I said just fine I can see all the words and I press send and it only sends "." A period. I'm very frustrated at this point. I have tried turning it on and off and check for software updates but it's all up to date.
