Not exactly. There is only one prompt, as shown below.
However, I say "not exactly" because if your iPhone is protected by a passcode and/or Find My, after pressing Delete, you still have to enter your passcode and/or Apple Account password, and you can always press "Cancel" at this stage. So even though there isn't an "are you sure?" prompt, you still have a chance to back out.

The answer is still the same. You have to enter your passcode after pressing the delete button, and you can cancel the process from the passcode screen.
To improve my understanding of the phenomenon, it would be highly beneficial if you could share a full screenshot (Do not crop it). Visual representations carry a greater impact than written descriptions.
Please remember that this is a public forum, so when attaching a screenshot, please avoid including any personal credentials such as IP addresses, card details, email IDs, Apple IDs, IMEI numbers, serial numbers, phone numbers, order IDs, or any identifiable location information if you are sharing a map.

With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.

I’m not sure what the concern is — “Are you sure?” is just the usual confirmation prompt that appears when you’re about to make a change that can’t be undone.
n your case, once the eSIM is deleted, the only way to add it back is to contact your carrier.
I don't mean Erase iPhone. I mean Delete All eSIMs which is a third option after Reset All Settings and Reset Network Settings.
I don’t mean erase iPhone. I meant delete all esims separately, please see my last post.
