Hi I turn on I message delete for 90 days and then turn keep forever unfortunately during the turn it on and off time period my old I message gone and these are really important for me
iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 26
Restore from iCloud Backup (only if the backup was made BEFORE messages were deleted)
Go to:
Settings → Your Name → iCloud → iCloud Backup → Last Successful Backup
Check the date.
If the backup date was before you changed the keep setting:
➡️ Your messages ARE inside that backup.
BUT restoring an iCloud backup requires erasing the iPhone first.
Restore from iCloud Backup (only if the backup was made BEFORE messages were deleted)
