Home assistant green and apple home

I set up Home Assistant Green and started adding devices. Not as plug-and-play as it is described, but I did get some devices working. Does anyone use Home Assistant Green? How do I get everything from Home Assistant for my Apple Home device? I am new to all this stuff.

To get Home Assistant Green working with Apple Home:

Add the HomeKit Bridge integration in Home Assistant
Choose which devices get shared
Pair the bridge in the Apple Home app
Your Home Assistant devices now show up as HomeKit accessories

This is the standard way nearly everyone uses HA + Apple Home.
