Payment information cannot be verified

I’ve been trying to make a payment and it keeps saying cannot verify payment information. Contact Apple support for more information.

“Cannot verify payment information” means Apple could not validate the card with your bank.

Fixes include:

  1. Make sure Apple ID region = card region
  2. Re-enter ALL card and billing info manually
  3. Remove → restart → re-add card
  4. Call bank to unblock Apple pre-authorizations
  5. Clear any unpaid Apple charges
  6. Remove expired cards
  7. Try adding through the App Store

If none work → Apple must reset your billing profile.
