Home pod when asked to stop an alarm with “hey Siri, stop” or “hey Siri, stop the alarm” will reply with “of course” and keeps playing my alarm.

Use a more specific phrase
Some HomePods ignore generic "stop" but respond to:
“Hey Siri, stop all alarms.”
or
“Hey Siri, stop the morning alarm.”
If your alarm has a label (e.g., “Wake Up”), then try:
“Hey Siri, stop the Wake Up alarm.”
This works for many users even when “stop” fails.
Actually i should have been more specific now that i did research it will say “turn of music in [room]?” And when i say yes it goes “thats what i thought” also i just now noticed that it is referring to another room that has another homepod mini
