How do I resolve 'wrong password' issue when signing in to Apple TV on a specific network?

Have an old Apple TV (think it is a 3rd gen) that I haven't looked at for several years. Tried starting it up but as soon as I try to sign in on my network it advises me the wrong password has been entered. I tried resetting the unit but as soon as I try signing in to my internet I don't get the option to enter a password. It automatically goes to "wrong password". If I try to sign in on another network it does ask me for the password?

Help?

Thx Tom

Forget All Saved Networks (Full Network Reset)

On Apple TV 3:

  1. Go to Settings → General → Reset
  2. Choose Reset All Settings (NOT Restore)
  3. Reboot the Apple TV
  4. Try connecting to Wi-Fi again

This removes saved Wi-Fi profiles and often restores the password prompt.
