Not getting notifications … Phone/Text on JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth speaker when using iPhone 17 Pro

How do I turn on text and phone notifications so they play through JBL Flip 6 (Bluetooth) on iPhone 17 Pro?

On my iPhone 13 with iOS 18 I had no issues getting notifications through the JBL portable speaker.

Ive disconnected and changed device to everything avail but when playing music don’t hear phone or text message.

Frustrating and JBL says it’s something with iOS software
