How do I find the 'tab' key on a floating keyboard for typing practice?

I have a student who is practicing typing and the site is requesting the student to 'tab' but the floating keyboards do not have a 'tab' button. Help please?

You’ll need a third-party on-screen keyboard app, or a Bluetooth keyboard, then.

One that appears to have a tab key: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/typefinity/id1512009869

An on-screen keyboard is a poor way to learn to type. You need a physical keyboard that is a standard size and produces tactile feedback to master touch typing.

Here are some options from Apple: https://www.apple.com/shop/accessories/all/made-by-apple?f=keyboard&fh=47a7%2B4603&page=1

Other manufacturers also offer a wide variety of options.

Absolutely.

No nubs on the home row of an on-screen keyboard, among the other issues for learning to type, and type fast.

This is not to claim somebody cannot type quickly with an on-screen keyboard.

You just have to look for placement and keyboard mode with an on-screen, which slows it all down.
