Need to disable the downloading of apps

I have an iPhone 15. My screen time is intentionally enabled, and apps are unable to be downloaded. However, when you swipe to the “today menu,” and search an app, it says “get” and you can download. Is there a way to disable that?

Getting Apps to Not be Showable, Nor Downloadable:

Try the following. Report back the results...


A. Turn Off All Store:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: App Store
  3. Toggle: ALL items Off
  4. Tap: App Store


then...

B. Turn Off ALL Age Restrictions:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Screen Time
  3. Tap: Content Privacy & Restrictions
  4. Tap: App Store, Media, Web, & Games
  5. Select: Apps
  6. Tap: [age shown]
  7. Select: Don't Allow
