How to revert iPhone update from iOS 26.1 to a previous version?

Apple has never been big on choice and they certainly don't need our permission to change their operating system. We don't own iOS. Apple does. We simply have a license to use it.

But to your assertion that iOS 26 destroyed any of your photos. No iOS update has the ability to do that. Without any information on what you believe the update did to your photos, it's difficult to take you seriously or offer any possible help.

The new version of IOS has completely screwed up my email system and I can also no longer send items to my printer. I need the old IOS before this last update so everything will work again.

I get the need to fix bugs and improve security we are all great for that but the new look to apps is awful you keep trying to reinvent a wheel and it’s not welcome

I appreciate the philosophy about change, but we have been on board for so many good yet disruptive updates. This one is very bad. They downgraded an excellent UI with this update.

Ever since the new update my Apple Music isn’t wanting to work. Let me know if this is also happening to you

I’m not happy with the latest iOS upgrade. I was given a choice to keep old settings or try the new ones. I went for try the new ones but never thought that I couldn’t change back.
