How to revert iPhone update from iOS 26.1 to a previous version?

Hi, how I can undo the last update, 26.1? Is absolutely disgusting I want my phone how it looked before

To the question that you replied to about rolling back iOS, that is not an option and it never has been with any OS version. That is simply a fact.


So now that leaves you with what you want to do about it.

  • Use the link to send feedback to Apple.
  • If you are having a specific problem with the update you would like to address, then create a new post with as much details as possible.
  • If you have not updated to iOS 26.2, now is the time. The posts here are all under the 26.1 title which is no longer a version that would be troubleshooted There have been changes made that may have resolved the problem along with a number of security improvements that should not be ignored.
  • And of course if you are just not happy with your iPhone, no one would tell you that you must have it. You should always purchase a device that best meets your needs. Be aware that Android 16 was recently released that includes the same Transparency and Blur found in Liquid Glass so if that is what you do not like you should be aware that the Android phones are already using it or will be coming soon. There are some phones that have stuck with the flat UI and Jitterbug is one that I know of, but it does not have many features. It just may take a little research.
