VR glasses on iPhone Air
iphone air not connecting to viture glasses- other research says this phone doesn’t support. There was nothing listed about this when I purchased and did phone comparison. Is there any fix or did I just waste $1K????

According to what I can see on their website, the glasses don't work with iPhones.
However, you should contact Viture support for more information. Actually, you probably should have done that research before spending $1K.

WHY, would Apple be responsible for advising you about the compatibility of a product not made or sold by Apple with any iPhone? I'm sure you're disappointed, but it's absolutely not Apple's job to tell you this VR Glass isn't compatible with your iPhone. If you want to complain to someone, complain to Viture.

That does seem to be the case. However, that seems unlikely to help the OP connect it to their iPhone. Gone are the days when the iPad was just a big iPhone.

For assistance with third-party hardware and third-party apps, and for questions about third-party product support, contact the third-party vendors, or check the third-party vendor’s preferred forums or support channels.
At least some of the third-party Viture gear purportedly works: https://www.viture.com/store/iphone
There are documented hardware and app restrictions, including no supported listing for iPhone Air, nor for iOS 26:
Info:
Again, contact the third-party vendor.
According to iPhone Air - Technical Specifications - Apple and comparing it to iPhone 17 - Technical Specifications - Apple, the iPhone Air does not support USB-C DisplayPort output, while the iPhone 17 does. The iPhone 16e has the same limitation.
So if these VR glasses act as an external video display connected by USB, they will not work with an iPhone Air.
Dont you need some app to work it?
