AirPods Pro 3 audio balance shifts left after 8B30 update

It seems to happen when adjusting a setting on one of the AirPods like volume or transparency. Immediately after a setting confirmation sound, the audio shifts slightly to the other AirPod and remains there. You can use the opposite AirPod to push the balance back. It’s a bit odd.

This has been driving me up the wall for the past couple of days.

I put my AirPod Pro 3s in, and the audio is even. Then it moves slightly to the left side. To reset it back, I take them out of my ears and put them back in. When I put them back in, it’s even, but Spatial Audio sometimes turns off for some reason, so I turn it back on. 10 seconds later the audio is slightly back to the left side again, and the cycle repeats.

Good to know that I’m not the only one. They need to fix this asap, it’s a major QOL issue.

The problem seems to have disappeared after deactivating the EN 352 protection setting. Can anyone confirm?

I was just pointing this option out. My AirPods balance was set to hard right when I got them.

Check and see if your AirPods are right and left. They could have packed wrong or mislabeled. Have you tried the AirPods on something else?

I don’t have my AirPods here. If I remember right, click on the AirPods on the iPhone there is a balance control there.
