Bybit card won't add to Apple Pay

I am currently living abroad and using a Bybit physical card. When I try to add the card to Apple Pay, I receive the error message:

“Card not added. Contact your card issuer for more information.”

  • Card is active and works for physical payments
  • Cardholder name: Mohamed Anaff Anver
  • iPhone is updated to latest iOS

Has anyone faced a similar issue with Bybit cards on Apple Pay?

Is this a regional restriction or issuer-side limitation?

iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26

Review the supported banks by region here and verify you are using the correct region:

Apple Pay participating banks in Canada, Latin America, and the United States - Apple Support

If ByBit shows in your region, then refer to the information they provide and contact ByBit for assistance.

Note: Please make sure your bank allows international and online transactions on your card and that it supports 3D Secure.

It is the bank that has to approve the card to be added to your Apple Wallet and if they approve it, then they send a unique token to your device for Apple Pay payments. If you don't get that token, you will see a message to contact the bank of the issuing card.
