Hi, I am facing an issue with WhatsApp backup on iPhone. I have enough storage (100+GB) but during backup, WhatsApp is asking to free up -ve storage. Can someone please help how to solve this issue? Thanks..!!
You don’t need negative storage display (Apple hasn’t invented time travel yet). Free some space, update, restart—and the message should behave.

Software Glitch!. Best advice will be to try to transfer current chats to a different device. Once all chats are on the other device, perform an uninstall of the app on the defective device and reinstall it. If issue persists, confirm if app is up-to-date: or try a force-restart, software update or in last case a restore from mac or pc. That should solve it.
