Correct Apple password not working!
I’ve reset my Apple password several times, but when I try to enter it, it says it’s incorrect. I can only access my account using passkey(like Face ID). How can I get my password to work again?

Wondering whether or not you have installed the most recent iOS 26 update on your iPhone.
About iOS 26 Updates - Apple Support says: iOS 26.2 is the latest, and
"This update includes enhancements to Apple Music, Podcasts, and Games, as well as other features, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone".
You can check for updates in Setttings > General > Software updates.
Reminder: It is always wise to back-up your iPhone before updating the iOS version

If your iPhone is already up-to-date with iOS 26.2:
try re-starting your iPhone to update all the recent setting changes an to re-establish the connectiion.
Restarting often restores order if something is not working as expected.

26.2. Something really odd is happening. Even to post this reply, the only way I could log on was with a Passkey - not login/phone and password. I cannot be the only one. This is device independent it happens on my phones and here Macbook pro on Chrome or Safari.
Thanks for your reply. That is odd ... wondering if there is some small incorrect detail that needs correcting in your online Apple account details (eg: a space that shouldn't be in an email address or a new password that was not accepted, or didn't register etc.). The same details there are used for everything Apple: https://account.apple.com/

Haven't heard of others with this situation ... yet, as Apple users, like yourself, we do not get to see the feedback sent to Apple. You might want to send feedback yourself, and if others do have a similar issue, we may see an update that addresses it. You could include a link to this discussion if you want. If there is a software bug, then the more feedback Apple receives on which hardware models, and software versions are affected, the more likely we will see an update that fixes it.

How Exactly is it Not Working:
When you Enter the Password: Is it giving you an error message? Is the password not typing charters? You are able to log into these forms just fine. So, the password would be no different, given it is the same account. So, are you certain this is YOUR device, and none other's?
Here are screenshot of me doing… and I am not mistyping the password because I can reset it. I saw on Reddit that now passwords are meant to be the password plus a code (like when using yubikeys)… but I do not have the code.
there Are no typos on the password as I reset 3 times and also save it on the password bank to ensure that is not the issues. VERY strange especially since I am able to logon to my account with Face ID or passkey with no problems.

Password App Being the Culprit:
If you are using the Passwords app, then go into it, and see just how many passwords are listed for that site. I helped someone yesterday, and they never removed them; as a result, autofill kept taking over. So, if there is anything listed for apple.com, trash them all, or change the password to what it should be.
All figured out the solution. The only way I was able to reset the password in a way that it did not get corrupted after was using the SUPPORT APP. This reset my password 1 last time and everything is working as expected now. Password and Passkey logins.
Anyone with password issues on Apple anything, try this. 👆👇

This helped! I downloaded the support app and reset the password there. Now everything is working again.
