Overhead video perspective is backwards. How do I flip this?

I need people to be able to view an above shot of my piano from the same perspective as I have when playing. Right hand plays up the keyboard to the right on the screen sitting at the piano, black keys on top. This is an iMac using a Logitech Webcam and Facetime/Googlemeet. I notice the actual camera on my iMac is a mirror image, it's okay if this has to be flipped in order to get the piano perspective corrected. Thanks.

How in the world are you setting up an iMac on your piano in such a way as to see an above shot of the keyboard? There is no way to tilt an iMac far enough to do that even on top of an upright piano.

Or are you saying that the Logitech Webcam is yielding a mirror image?

As far as the FaceTime app is concerned, it always shows you in a mirror image to yourself, since we are unaccustomed to seeing ourselves any other way. The iMac's front-facing FaceTime camera is designed for it, for conference calls and so forth. The images shown to others appear normally, as they would see you — not mirrored. So, check with your audience and confirm they are seeing you normally. They probably do.

I don't know what Googlemeet does.

If that is not a satisfactory answer to you then it is a question for Logitech. Investigate its settings to determine if there is a way to mirror its image.

Seems to me that shooting from above, over-the-shoulder of the pianist, with an iPhone or other camera on a tripod would be the simplest way to get the POV shot that you’re looking for. Mirroring and reverse imaging to force that perspective from an iMac situated atop the piano, in front of and facing the pianist sounds really difficult to overcome. 😵‍💫
