Return Autoplay for Purchased Content on App

Why has Apple taken away the autoplay feature for purchased content on the app?

I am no longer able to autoplay TV shows I have purchased using my Roku or Xbox. I shouldn't be required to buy another product just to autoplay shows I own with the app.

Are you watching an apple show? Autoplay still works for apple original content or if you are using an apple TV device. If you are using the app the autoplay features no longer works for purchased content. I have triple checked my settings and even reached out to support who confirmed autoplay is gone unless you have an apple device. There are other people having this issue, if you Google it the threads come up.


I just checked right now and it still doesn't work.
